Abdallah S. Al-Busaidy
Abdallah is an Advocate of the High Court. He is the Partner in charge of Dispute Resolution.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nairobi and a Postgraduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law. He was admitted to the bar in January 2016.
He began his legal career with First Assurance Insurance Company in 2007 as an assistant legal officer in the legal department. He then had a brief stint working as an intern in the firm of Timamy & Company Advocates in Mombasa. Abdallah then spent a year working at the Norwegian Centre against Anti-Racism (Antirasistik Senter) in Oslo, Norway where he focused on youth related programs aimed at building bridges and enhancing global North-South co-operation.
He then joined the firm of Ahmednasir, Abdikadir & Company Advocates from January 2015, where he undertook his articles of pupilage prior to becoming a litigation associate upon induction into the Roll of Advocates. Here, he dealt with a wide array of matters, with a special emphasis on commercial litigation. Abdallah successfully prosecuted one National Assembly Election Petition and successfully defended three Gubernatorial Election Petitions after the 2018 General Elections. His work at the firm of Ahmednasir, Abdikadir & Company Advocates exposed and trained Abdallah to the nuances that are involved in complex litigation matters.
Abdallah is a passionate environmentalist, devoting his free time to various tree-planting and environmental clean-up projects. He is also keen on travelling and experiencing firsthand the different cultures that the world has to offer.
