Mwaura is an Advocate of the High Court and the Partner in charge of Real Estate and Property Law.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nairobi and a Postgraduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law. He was admitted to the bar in January 2016.
He is registered as an Associate with the Environment Institute of Kenya to conduct Environmental Impact Assessment and Audit.
He worked for many law firms before admission to the bar. He was a legal intern at Wamalwa & Wamalwa Advocates in 2011 and Gichuke Ribathi & Company Advocates in 2012. He undertook his pupillage at the firm of Mose Mose & Millimo Advocates in 2014 and continued working at the firm as a Legal Assistant until November 2015. It is here that he honed his conveyancing skills as his main duties included perfection of securities, undertaking due diligence in property transactions, property investment advisory services, review and drafting of contractual agreements and litigation matters. He joined the firm of Muthoga Gaturu & Company Advocates in January of 2016 as an Associate Advocate in the Commercial and Conveyancing department. While at Muthoga Gaturu & Company Advocates, he conducted various dispute resolution matters and property transactions. He has served various clients including individuals and corporates. Mwaura left Muthoga Gaturu in June 2017 to join BMN Advocates.
Mwaura in an ardent football fan and also occasionally enjoys playing the game. As a lover of nature and the outdoors, he regularly visits Karura Forest for nature walks and bird watching.
